§ 1 Scope

These terms apply to all orders placed by consumers and businesses on carcovermate.com with Nicholas Gertz, Euckenstraße 6, 81369 Munich, Germany.

§ 2 Request process & conclusion of contract

The presentation of products is not a binding offer. We currently use the configurator for non-binding order requests from 20 units. By submitting the form you send us an inquiry. We will then contact you personally by email with an individual quote. A contract is only concluded when you expressly accept that quote.

§ 3 Prices and shipping

All listed prices are final prices in Euro including shipping and customs duties for deliveries to Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the rest of the EU. Under the German small business rule (§ 19 UStG), no VAT is charged or shown, so input tax deduction is not possible. For deliveries outside the EU, additional import charges of the destination country may apply and are borne by the customer.

§ 4 Payment

Payment is agreed individually and processed by invoice (advance payment / bank transfer). As soon as a regular online checkout becomes available, we will publish the payment providers in use here.

§ 5 Lead time & production

Each cover is produced individually. Estimated lead time is approx. 12 weeks from receipt of payment. Delays will be communicated by email.

§ 6 Withdrawal policy & exclusion

Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period will expire after fourteen days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the last good.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Nicholas Gertz, CarCoverMate, Euckenstraße 6, 81369 Munich, Germany, Email: info@carcovermate.com) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or e-mail). You may use the model withdrawal form provided at /en/withdrawal, but it is not obligatory. To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of the supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.

You shall send back the goods or hand them over to us without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of fourteen days has expired. You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

Exclusion of the right of withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts for the supply of goods that are not prefabricated and for whose production an individual choice or determination by the consumer is decisive, or which are clearly tailored to the personal needs of the consumer (§ 312g (2) No. 1 BGB). All CarCoverMate covers are made-to-order to your vehicle and specifications (size, optional logo). They are customised special items. The statutory right of withdrawal is therefore excluded.

§ 7 Warranty

Statutory warranty provisions apply. Defects must be reported promptly upon receipt.

§ 8 AI-generated preview

The preview shown in the configurator is generated by AI and serves illustrative purposes only. Minor deviations between the preview and the produced item are possible and do not constitute a defect.

§ 9 Dispute resolution

We do not participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.

§ 10 Final provisions

German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Should individual provisions be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions is unaffected.
